Red Car Cafe
Pacific Electric, also known as the Red Car system, was a privately owned mass transit system in Southern California consisting of electrically powered streetcars, light rail, and buses and was the largest electric railway system in the world in the 1920s. Organized around the city centers of Los Angeles and San Bernardino, it connected cities in Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County and Riverside County. (courtesy of wikiPedia)
Before motor-cars and smog, the Red Car was your one way ticket to Pacific City ...or as you know it now, Huntington Beach. With the advent of freeways and the saturation of the automobile, the Red Car slipped away into the history books. With a nod to our rich history here in Surf City USA, FCC is excited to share Red Car Cafe with our community. Red Car Cafe offers a variety of delicious eats and drinks. Stop in for a great sandwich, pastry or cup of Orange County's Best coffee, Kean by Martin Deidrich. Our friendly staff awaits your arrival.
