Every Spring we link arms with other churches in our area to love our city by volunteering with various projects that better our school systems, our parks, beaches, and neighborhoods. We call it RestoreHB. We love that we volunteer with other churches to make this impact because it’s a unifying effort to communicate God’s love and care for all people in our city. Join us by signing up to volunteer at one of the following events. Some events have limited spaces; if an event is full, please view some of the other options. Thank you for making a difference in our community!

BEACH CLEAN-UP | Saturday, May 4 | 9 AM – 11 AM

Volunteers will meet at Beach Blvd. between lifeguard stands 15 & 19. Look for the Restore HB pop up tent. This is a great way we can love our surfing and beach community especially after all the clean up necessary from the rain this year. This is an easy, all ages welcome, serve project. Gloves, trash bags and trash picks will be provided, as well as coffee and donuts.

A special part of this project will involve building a brand new reading garden that will be both aesthetically pleasing and a functional outdoor space for students to read. A limited number of gloves, rakes, shovels and other supplies will be available. If you have your own, please bring them. Drinking water will be provided. Location: 17241 Oak Ln, Huntington Beach 92647.

MESA VIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL COURT RESTORATION | Saturday, May 4 | 9 AM – 12 PM

LIMITED VOLUNTEER SPACE

We will be restoring the school’s outdoor basketball hoops through sanding, priming, and painting the backboards and rims to make them look brand new. We will install new nets onto each rim as well so that the kids will have adequate courts to play on during recess and lunch. All needed supplies as well as water will be available. Remember to wear paint clothes. Location: 17601 Avilla Lane, Huntington Beach 92647.

CENTRAL PARK CLEAN-UP | Saturday, May 11 | 9 AM – 11:00 AM
