Here at FCCHB, we believe that we grow & form our faith in practical ways. While transformation (or new life) is the work of God’s grace alone in our lives, we grow in our love for God & others by exercising our faith through spiritual rhythms. Sometimes referred to as practices or disciplines, rhythms are integral values and ongoing actions we live out to express our faith. By practicing these rhythms, we grow & continue to experience the new life God wants us to have. Some of these rhythms involve having a Bible. Need a Bible? We’ve got you!

Spiritual Life Map

Here’s an optional exercise that is hopefully helpful. It’s intended to help you understand how your life milestones and experiences have shaped your spirituality and core convictions.

One of the most meaningful parts of this summer was our Prayer and Praise Wall, a simple space that became something special. It reminded us that God works in many ways, often through one another. For a few weeks, we had the opportunity to write down prayers on our hearts, lift up the needs of others, and celebrate how God has been moving in our lives. It wasn’t just about individual moments; it was about coming together as a church, carrying each other’s burdens, and rejoicing in answered prayers. In a season full of movement and connection, this wall became a quiet but powerful reminder: we are the Church, and we don’t walk alone. Check it out below by clicking on the images!
